This week, we welcomed a sweet new baby girl—grandbaby #3—into our family. 💛
And once again, I was reminded how meaningful “home” really is.
Because home isn’t just where life happens…

It’s where tiny babies are brought home for the very first time.
Where sleepy parents rock babies in the middle of the night.
Where families gather around kitchen counters and dinner tables.
Where traditions are created.
Where laughter echoes down hallways.
Where hard conversations happen.
Where healing happens.
Where love grows.
And over time, those ordinary little moments become the memories we treasure most.
The Meaning of Home Changes Over Time
As a young mom, home meant one thing.
It meant trying to keep up with busy days, growing kids, schedules, backpacks, laundry, and the beautiful chaos of family life.
Now, as a grandma, it means something even deeper.
I see how quickly time moves.
How precious family moments really are.
And how meaningful it is to have a place where people feel safe, loved, gathered, and connected.
A place where people want to come home to.
More Than a Transaction
After nearly four decades helping families buy homes, I’ve learned something important:
